Weight loss is also important for people suffering from hypertension. Obese people tend to suffer from hypertension. The reason for this is not very clear though. The reason for obese persons suffering from hypertension is related to the kidneys. Since kidneys have important functions of maintaining the blood pressure and the renal water and salt excretion, they are responsible factors that cause hypertension. An individual suffering from hypertension needs to get a treatment in time. If not done so, it causes premature aging of the arteries. This condition may lead to kidney failure, strokes, and heart attacks.

Individuals who are overweight or obese must not consider that extra weight as some kind of joke, rather consider it as a problem, and take required steps to become a healthy person in the future.
