Fitness exercises for good health do not mean that, individuals have to work out lengthily each day. It actually means one really needs to work out smartly. Most experts say that not all fitness exercises are equal. Instead, they are aimed to target the multiple muscles, work out a part of the body, or help whole body to burn the calories.

Walking:
Walking is something, which can be done anywhere and at anytime. It helps to burn the calories. All that one needs to do is, get a pair of shoes and walk briskly for an hour. If individuals walk for an hour, it helps to burn almost 500 calories. Therefore, people who are thinking over to lose one pound will have to walk for seven hours. But, this does not mean that, individuals walk for seven hours a day daily.
Interval training:
Interval training means adding pace to the exercise sessions. Try aerobic exercises and increase the intensity of the exercises. If people are walking on treadmill, they need to increase the intensity for two or three minutes and get down for two or five minutes and then again resume walking on the treadmill. Repeat this technique throughout the exercise session.
Squats:
Squats help to strengthen the quadriceps, hamstrings and gluteals. Thus, it targets the particular core of muscles and burns out the excess fat. To perform squats individuals need to keep their back straight and their feet shoulder apart. Later, they have to bend the knees and lower the rear. Their knees need to remain over the ankles for some time. Relax and repeat the procedure for the eight to ten times. Moreover, researchers say that, squats help to reduce the knee pain.
Lunges:
Lunges are great exercises for lower body. It is an advanced version of squats that improves the posture and balance. To perform lunges, individuals need to take a huge step forward and keep the spine straight, bend the knees by 90 degrees, focus on keeping the body weight on back toes, and drop the back leg’s knee on the floor.
Come back to the original position and repeat the procedure for other leg. Carry out at least five repetitions for each leg.
Push-ups:
Most people refrain from doing push ups. However, if individuals do it correctly, it will improve their posture, chest, shoulders, trunk muscles and triceps at the same time. For perfect push-ups, face downward towards the floor and place the hands wider on the floor at shoulder width.
Next, place the toes on the floor and create a diagonal shape of the body. Stay in that position, lower the body, and then lift by bending as well as straightening the elbows. Remember to keep the torso stable. Perform eight repetitions daily.
Therefore, if individuals follow these exercises, they will become healthy and achieve physical and mental fitness at the same time.
